Open Space, formally Open Space Technology is a method for organizing meetings as described by Harrison Owen in Open Space Technology: A User's Guide.

Meetings held in Open Space have no pre-determined agenda. Participants create the agenda at the very beginning of the event and it evolves thoughout the event.

Open Space relies on the Four Principles:

  1. Whoever comes is the right people.
  2. Whatever happens in the only thing that could have.
  3. Whenever it starts is the right time.
  4. When it's over, it's over.
